Markdown for agents
Your page as text, without the navigation, cookie banner and layout divs that make up most of the HTML a model has to pay for.
- What the test asks for
- We request
/on your domain over the network, exactly the way an outside client would, and read what comes back. A setting that is switched on but unreachable is not a pass. - Can QWeb Agent Ready add it for me?
- Yes. The free plugin publishes this. Same URL, same content, negotiated on the Accept header, with Vary set. Because a page cache replays stored HTML without reading Accept, the plugin routes AI crawlers and readiness scanners around the cache, and gives every page a markdown twin at ?format=markdown, advertised from the head, so the markdown is reachable through any cache or CDN.
- How settled is this?
- A published standard.
Does your site pass this one?
The free test checks it against your live URL, along with 18 others, and tells you how many the free plugin can fix.
